Song of the Week

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards describes a world where everything is in turmoil. Cops are criminals, and all the saints are sinners. The Devil is not a monster but "a man of wealth and taste." The nature of his game is puzzling, unless we see it in terms of the spiritual practice of shadow. Then it all becomes a bit clearer, especially the suggestion that we are all accomplices in other acts of violence. "If you meet me," says the Devil, "have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste."
