THE ONE WHO IS NOT BUSY

The one who is not busy,
is about the time spent
doing nothing but being
with the Ultimate.

The one who is not busy
reminds me it is ok to
designate time to just be
and commune with the Divine.

Becoming the one who is not busy
is about being intentional
about taking time which is just time.
It is about releasing our attachment
to goals and time

Becoming the one who is not busy
is about me letting go
of all the things which fill my calendar
and dictate my life.
It is about me being alone
silent and unattached
and in tune with
the One who is not busy

DROP IN CENTER

It is always nice
in the case of an emergency
to have a drop-in center.
What if we were our own
drop-in center.
What if we took quiet times
and listened to the wisdom
in the silence.
What if in the silence we heard
the wisdom of the Infinite
What if in this space we gained insights
we could not receive in the
noise of our lives.

What if we thought about quiet
as us saying hello and welcoming
wisdom and understanding to
just drop in.
Would our drop -n center
be open more often?

I AM MY SANCTUARY

There have been moments
Where I have needed stillness.
Where I sought a sanctuary;
A space to retreat to and
sit with you and just be

Then you showed me how
to sit and be still
and journey within
to my inner sanctuary

You bought me
to a space within me
that is quiet,
still
peaceful
and where I hear you
with the greatest of clarity
